The Second International Forum “Transport Infrastructure in Russia, organized by the State Duma and PIBD LLC with support from several leading international organizations such as the U.S.-Russia Business Council, ITS America, and International Road Federation will feature over 50 of the most prominent Russian and Western companies and will include one-on-one meetings with executives.
Russia is the world's best-performing emerging market since May 2010, The country's second wave of privatization of state-owned companies, upcoming major sports events and international conferences, vast natural resources, state-subsidized technology development, and ongoing consumer and retail growth have attracted significant attention from top investors.
The Second International Forum “Transport Infrastructure in Russia” will provide in-depth perspectives on the current state of Russian economy, while allowing its participants to discuss strategic opportunities with global market leaders and investors. The Summit will consist of a plenary session and a series of panel discussions, offering speakers and attendees a platform in which to explore investment expectations and the possibility of extraordinary returns in the Russian market. Topics will include key trends in policy making, the regulatory environment and investment valuations.
A special focus session will be dedicated to upcoming large sport events, the Olympic Games in Sochi and 2018 World Cup. These events will serve as a driving force for realization of investment projects in the regions of Russia. Experts will discuss mechanisms of financing and attraction of investments into top-priority projects of regional transport infrastructure with international experience taken into account.
